![]() Triggering the Empowered buff will affect everyone in your party. ![]() Once you reach the threshold point that I marked in the previous image, a special action button will appear. However, this still does not explain what it means to become Empowered.Īll the actions you perform in Torghast will fill an Empowerment meter. Empowered Bonus points are any extra points you earned from performing activities while you are Empowered. For example, The Upper Reaches floors are often VERY short, resulting in a very fast Par Time requirement.Įmpowered Bonus points can be a bit confusing at first, as the tooltip is a little vague. Again, this depends on the randomized composition and elements of that particular wing/layer of Torghast, so please take this as a rough estimate only. Going above the Par Time will cause you to receive less than 30 points, with the amount earned decreasing the longer you take.įrom the many dozens of hours I have been testing this, the par time on lower layer difficulties was usually between 17 to 22 minutes, whereas higher difficulty layers are often closer to 22 to 26 minutes. However, it seems you will earn 30 points if you are exactly at the Par Time, and will gain up to 20 extra points if you complete the run very quickly. Due to the random generation of a layer of Torghast, it is impossible to say exactly what the par time will be for every run you do. The par time of a layer of Torghast is based on several factors, including the length/size of the floor, the number of enemies on the floor, and if there are any rare elites present. The longer you go past the par timer, the fewer points you will receive toward your end-of-run total. If finish under the par time, you will receive the maximum amount of points for completion speed. This is a similar concept to timers in Mythic dungeons. Each Torghast layer has a 'par time', which is the expected amount of time the run will take. Time is the next largest source of your overall score in Torghast. Everything located on a floor of Torghast that can be saved, killed, or destroyed will affect your Completion percentage, so it is important to clear as much of every floor as possible. You earn Completion points by defeating enemies (not just the end boss), freeing Soul Remnants, and destroying Ashen Phylacteries (aka pots or urns). In addition, there are also Extra Points you can earn.Ĭompletion is the most straightforward metric of your Torghast run. The first set of requirements are Completion, Empowered Bonus, and Time. Since achieving a high enough score to fill four Gems is required to advance to the next Torghast layer, it's important to know where to focus your energy. Many factors will make up your overall performance rating in a Torghast run. You must earn a minimum of 160 points (4 gems) to advance to the next highest layer in Torghast. To illuminate each Gem, you must achieve minimum scores. Simply defeating the end boss is no longer enough to advance.Īt the top of this UI is a series of five Gems. Your scores now determine whether you can graduate to the next higher Layer in Torghast. Upon defeating the Floor 5 boss in your Torghast run, the Score UI will appear to show how well you performed. The Scoring System is what will determine your progression in Torghast, as you will need to reach a minimum score to unlock the next higher layer. Feel free to reach out to me via Twitter, my Youtube Channel, or community Discord, and I hope you have a great day! I focus mainly on PvE content and I hope my testing and documentation of Torghast is helpful to you. I have various achievements under my belt including several Cutting Edges, Keystone Masters, Gold Dungeon Challenge Modes and as a personal goal, completed Twisting Corridors solo on the first week it was available as well as the Flawless Master (Layer 12) achievement on the 9.1 PTR, Flawless Master (Layer 16) on the 9.2 PTR, and for the fun of it- Layer 12 flawless runs using a Racing Wheel. I’ve been an avid World of Warcraft player and rogue main since 2005, with more hours invested in Torghast than I’d willingly admit. ![]() The guide you’re reading was put together by The Red Rogue.
